Groundbreaking Guide Launched To Combat Sectarian Bullying

A vital new resource designed to address sectarian bullying among children and young people in Northern Ireland has been launched by the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA), with research from Stranmillis University College forming its core.

The "All Together" guide for the children's workforce, alongside a research report and a free CPD-certified online training course, draws directly from work conducted by the Centre for Research in Educational Underachievement (CREU) at Stranmillis in partnership with the ABA.

Third Arrest In Ballymena Sexual Assault Investigation
Police investigating a serious sexual assault on a teenage girl in the Clonavon Terrace area of Ballymena on Saturday 07 June, have made a third arrest. Detective Inspector Olphert from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Public Protection Branch confirmed that a 28-year-old man was arrested on Monday evening, 09 June.

Man Charged Following Ballymena Disorder
A 29-year-old man arrested during the disorder in Ballymena on Monday night, 9th June, has been charged and is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 3rd July. The man faces charges of riotous behaviour, disorderly behaviour, attempted criminal damage, and resisting police.

A security alert in Strabane has concluded after a suspicious device discovered on Tuesday 10 June, was examined by Ammunition Technical Officers (ATO) and determined to be a hoax. Police were called to Evish Square at approximately 9:10am following a report that a suspicious device had been found in a vehicle.
